Harold L Shatz
Chairman
Harold Shatz began his professional career in 1966. He met Mr. Sam Walton of Wal-Mart, and established and maintained a business relationship with Wal-Mart which still continues today. By 1976 he had formed his own sales agency, Domino Industries, which under his watch as president, grew to a fifty million dollar company, over the next twenty two years. He is recognized for his marketing leadership, innovative marketing strategies, motivation of his employees, and most importantly his understanding and enforcing the importance of customer service.

In 2001 he moved to Boca Raton, FL. where the personal experience of finding a health insurance plan made him acutely aware of the healthcare crisis. It is his “street sense” business acumen combined with his empathy and caring for his fellow human beings that set him on the course which brought him to the juncture where he has helped develop a viable solution to the healthcare crisis for so many American Families. He is also a Licensed Florida Insurance Agent.

Stephen M Tucker

Stephen began his insurance career with Blue Cross and Blue Shield after leaving the home furnishings industry as a Divisional President of the $200 million corporation, Interiors Inc.

In 1996 Stephen became VP of Marketing for ADCAHB, the nation's largest BC/BS agency group. He managed many divisions including Market Development for the 18,000 new policy holders yearly. He maintains insurance licenses in both Florida and Georgia. In 1997 UICI launched a new health insurance division and pursued him to develop the State of Florida for them. In 1998 ANTEX, another premier health insurance carrier, did the same. In 2001 he added American Medical Security to the portfolio, becoming a National Franchise Marketing Organization. This agency group spans more than 13 states and represents over 800 agencies with a total of over $40 million in annualized new business per year.

In 2003 the health insurance crisis incited Stephen to seek out a new way of providing healthcare benefits, which brought him to Sam and Harold Shatz. Together they created Ican Benefit Group, allowing hundreds of thousands of families to access the healthcare they need at a manageable price.

Sam Shatz after attending the Fashion Institute of Technology began his career in 1971 as salesman for a New York apparel company. His performance in sales and sales management realized him a new opportunity and in 1978 he joined the apparel conglomerate Manhattan Industries as President of their “Sportswear by Vera” division, reversing a downward trend in volume, reducing manufacturing costs, and adding additional product under a new label to increase the fortunes of the division where he stayed until 1993.

Recognizing an opportunity under NAFTA to bring Canadian made apparel to the U. S. market he formed the marketing company Loring & Tremont. These efforts resulted in sales in excess of $10 million. He is a licensed insurance agent.

In early 2004, being intrigued by the opportunity and challenge that was being undertaken by his brother, Harold, in finding a viable solution to the healthcare crisis in America, he has fulfilled a life long desire to be in business with his sibling and joined him in this pursuit. Sam has two grown children and three wonderful grandchildren to whom he is devoted.
